What our students say about our teachers

I enjoyed very much the workshop, Marianne is really good, the feedback and her comments helped me a lot in my personal work, I wish I had more classes with her…. this course was a breath of fresh air.
—Lorena (Mexico)
What a great class — I learned a lot and found it very inspirational!
—Jessica (New York City)
Over the past two years I have taken four live online classes and it has been a very rewarding experience. I have especially enjoyed the global nature of these classes, having been in class with photographers from India, Sweden, Monaco, South Korea, and Germany. In addition to improving my photographic skills, I have learned a great deal about the cultures of and conditions in other countries.
—Sheila (Princeton, NJ)
I enjoyed this class tremendously — Kai is an excellent teacher. He provided lots of examples to demonstrate the task at hand and his handouts were extremely thorough. He documented the work in such a way that you felt he was in your home conducting a one-to-one tutorial session. Thank you for the opportunity to engage in such a positive experience in my photography journey!
—Marilyn (The Bronx)
The cyanotype class of Claudia was really mind blowing for me! Exploring this new printing technique and creating digital negatives has really opened a new window that I want to incorporate in my photographic practise. Claudia has been a very inspiring teacher. She went thoroughly through the process of cyanotype on glass as well as her own practise and work of other contemporary and historical artists using cyanotype printing techniques. I also very much appreciated the attention Claudia gave to our individual projects/ideas, pointing to artworks and ways of working we might find relevant and inspiring.
—Eugenia (Berlin)
