What Moves You?

Live guest-curated photography talks

StrudelmediaLive presents “What Moves You?” — a photo talk series bringing diverse voices from around the world to the photography community while raising money to feed the food insecure.

Guest curators invite a diverse range of photographers to talk about what inspires and moves them — how they created a specific project, what impact they want their work to have, and more. Each talk is followed by a Q&A with the audience (photo_talks last about an hour). Space is limited.

Funds raised for the Migrant Kitchen Inititative

Since May 2020, our Photo_Talks have raised $10,054 for The Migrant Kitchen Initiative, helping provide thousands of healthy meals to people in need.

The Migrant Kitchen Initiative was born out of a need to feed the most vulnerable during the height of the coronavirus pandemic in New York City. Their work continues, as migrants from around the world come together in their global kitchens to share their stories and cultures through healthy, delicious meals that are served to the food insecure in communities around the world. Private donors cover all of their operating expenses, which allows The Migrant Kitchen Initiative, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, to put 100% of all funds donated towards feeding those in need.

Please note that these Zoom sessions will be recorded and that by joining a session, you consent to the recording. If you do not agree to being recorded, please turn off your video in the application or consider not joining the talk.
