A space for learning, creating, and connecting through photography

Lesly is an amazing teacher and human being. She helped me a lot throughout this process of being a new mother. I hope I’ll keep photographing at home for a long-term project, documenting my son’s life and my motherhood experience.  

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed taking the class with Elizabeth over the last several weeks. I think she did excellent job teaching — she was very professional and also very personal. I also appreciate that recordings are available after the fact, because there was a lot of information. I’m glad I can review it and make notes for myself. I would love to see Elizabeth teach another class on making more book structures — I know there are other things that she could teach us, and I’d be happy to sign up for another session. I’m so glad I stumbled on the StrudelmediaLive platform!

This class was a wonderful experience. It was an intimately sized group (about 6 students), so we all received extensive and personalized feedback, including various references that related to the specific subjects/styles/themes of our work. It gave me the social accountability and courage to start on projects that I have been postponing for many months, for which I am very grateful.

Kai’s “Summer Nights, Through a Lens” was such a great experience! I really appreciated the insights and impulses Kai shared with us. They inspired us to go out shooting in the evenings and at night, and the diversity of the resulting photos was truly astounding. My favorite part was Kai’s reviews of all the submitted photos. His perspectives were so helpful for analyzing and understanding images more deeply, which in turn sparked so many new ideas to keep in mind while out shooting.

I really enjoyed Zuzana’s class. The subject matter was a 100% match for the type of work I’ve been focusing on lately, and Zuzana is an excellent teacher — prepared, knowledgeable, engaging, and funny.
