Your global community for live and interactive photography classes

Thank you for the wonderful class, and for all the help with my video! It was such a nice group and I learned so much. I loved the class and I am so happy to have a video for my exhibition.  

Just a quick note to say that James Prochnik’s “Poems and Pictures” class was fantastic — he is a gifted teacher and image maker. My work experienced a much needed shift during his class and my fellow classmates were equally committed to making new and exciting work. Not only did he introduce us to largely unknown photographers, he was in the trenches with us. His thoughtful critiques are what I imagine MFA students receive at Yale. This class was exactly what I needed, when I needed it. James embodies what StrudelmediaLive is all about: pushing limits to break creative barriers.

I was happy to have discovered StrudelmediaLive and the Cameraless Photography class with Daura and Samanta! Thank you both for the enthusiasm, knowledge, and hard work you put into the class. I appreciated the materials you put together for each lesson — they were really thorough and looked wonderful — and that you posted them quickly. Thank you also for your observations and insights that you shared with each of us based on our individual styles and concepts. I was happy to have been in the class and expand on my knowledge of cameraless processes. You make a good team! If you teach another class or have exhibitions, please let me know.

We just had our last class with Zuzana on the performative self portrait and I am feeling very inspired and driven to continue working on the self portrait — it feels very personal, in a true way. Thank you for giving me the opportunity!
