Your global community for live and interactive photography classes

Thanks for introducing me to the inspiring work of such amazing photographers and helping me find my own voice as a photographer. It was really helpful to hear your thoughts on pictures and how you see and perceive certain images. Your passion for the art of photography really inspired me and the relaxed atmosphere you create within the classes, as well as your way of offering feedback, made it easy to follow and to share one’s own work. I learned a lot and I got some more direction on where I want to go with my photography, and the discussions made me think about the way I want to express myself.  My passion for telling people’s stories through pictures and my fascination for the craft and art of photography deepened with this class.

Today, sadly, is the last of Kai’s B&W class — it has been great and he’s an excellent teacher. I rejuvenated some of my Photoshop skills which have been dormant and learned a lot.  

I really enjoyed Zuzana’s class. She helped me develop a concept for a project and gave me the push I needed to get started. I am sure it’s gonna take a while to get it done, but I know now what I want to do and how to continue. I felt that Zuzana has been genuinely interested in everyone’s work and I appreciated her feedback and tips.

This class was a wonderful experience. It was an intimately sized group (about 6 students), so we all received extensive and personalized feedback, including various references that related to the specific subjects/styles/themes of our work. It gave me the social accountability and courage to start on projects that I have been postponing for many months, for which I am very grateful.

I loved the embroidery class! Jolanda was a truly inspiring instructor. She provided a perfect mix of teaching/demonstrating specific embroidery stitches, collage techniques, and working with fabric, and commenting on and encouraging student work. I also appreciated her very thorough class notes, illustrated with examples she had shown in class. Jolanda emphasized the thought processes of making art, thinking about the “why” of what we were doing, which was eye-opening and inspiring. Thank you for offering this great class!
