Every place has a story to tell, but sometimes it's hard to see what's right in front of you. Explore your immediate surroundings by discovering your neighborhood and it’s people and the changes happening, or focus on documenting family life right in your own home. Students will develop their own personal storytelling style and means of expression, and will learn to experience their own environment in new ways. For inspiration we’ll discuss a variety of other photographers' projects, and we’ll analyze their approach and tools used for creative storytelling.

To me, online classes have been a synonym for freedom. Freedom of being where I was, geographically. Freedom of expressing myself through the group discussions and learning by sharing with others and with Anja.
—Lara (France)
Anja's live online classes provided an intimate and safe space where I felt comfortable to present and discuss my work with other students, thus traning me for presenting my work outside of class. The assignments coupled with class critiques taught me how to formulate my point of view of other people's work, and to continue learning about things such as composition and sequencing. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is committed to advancing their photography, or who might need a little push and new prespective on where to take their work.
