Join us for this special in-person weekend workshop in New York City to photograph some of the lesser-known parts of three different islands that lie just off of Manhattan. We’ll travel as a group by ferry on Saturday and Sunday to each spot where you'll photographically discover these locations with their mix of new and old, and facinating natural and architectural spaces. This workshop would be great for those who enjoy photographing urban spaces, unexpected natural environments, street scenes, and architecture. We'll focus on telling stories about both the differences and similarities of these islands that surround Manhattan. Activities will be held outdoors as much as possible and your evenings are free to explore the city as you like. Ferry transportation is included in the fee.

The following Sunday, we’ll meet online to discuss and critique your fresh NYC images. This workshop will also be a good opportunity to meet in person and photograph with other StudelmediaLive students you may know only on Zoom.

This workshop is part of our StrudelmediaLive Community Weekend in New York City — join us on Friday, Oct 21 for a free gallery-hopping and get-together!

Please note: Make sure to wear good shoes because we'll be walking a good amount.
