Presenting Work

Four Photographers on the Labyrinth of Approaching Family as Subject

Allen Frame in Conversation with Kat Shannon, Chloe Scout Nix & Emile Kees

Registration for this event is closed, but you can join our mailing list if you’d like to be informed of the next section of this class.

Allen Frame leads a conversation focused on diverse ideas and approaches to using one’s family as subject matter in photography. He will be joined by other StrudelmediaLive teachers — Kat Shannon, Chloe Scout Nix, and Emile Kees — who not only all work with the theme of family in their photography, but have also all studied with Allen. Kat, Chloe, and Emile will each present their own work, and Allen will share work by Darrel Ellis, an artist who died in 1992 and whose work about his family has been rediscovered. There will be time for a Q&A at the end of the talk.
