  The StrudelmediaLive Creative Growth Scholarship is made possible by donations from the StrudelmediaLive community. It provides a limited number of partial and full scholarships throughout the year to students,whether they’ve studied with us before or not. Open to photographers around the world of any age, this need-based scholarship provides tuition assistance for one of our classes, making it possible for the selected students to expand their artistic practice and grow as photographers. There is no application fee for this scholarship.

How to Apply

  Application to this scholarship is open throughout the year. Offering a limited number of partial and full scholarships, this need-based scholarship is open to anyone of any age around the world. If you’ve studied with StrudelmediaLive before, please email us at scholarships@strudelmedialive.com; if you are new to StrudelmediaLive, please follow the guidelines below.

  To apply, send us:

 
• a portfolio of 15–20 images,
 
• a single document (.doc or PDF) that includes
         
  • a note indicating how this scholarship would be beneficial to your photography (100 words max);
         
  • a short bio (150 words max);
         
  • your Instagram and/or website links if available;
         
  • your name and email address; and
         
  • where you heard about StrudelmediaLive and this scholarship.

  Applications are accepted throughout the year and awarded on an ongoing basis.

  Please note:

 
• Photographs should be jpgs only, at least 2000 pixels on the longest side.
 
• Photo files must be named this way: Firstname_Lastname_01.jpg
 
• Text files or PDFs must be named this way: Firstname_Lastname_statement.doc or .pdf

About StrudelmediaLive

StrudelmediaLive offers live, interactive, and instructor-led online photography classes to people around the world. These classes — which focus on developing creative expression — take place in small groups of up to 8 students and are held live through Zoom. Most classes are held in English.

The instructors are a diverse group based in New York City and internationally. They share their knowledge and skills in subjects like storytelling, long-term projects, documentary photography, environmental and self portraits, composition, technical classes, mentoring, multimedia, bookmaking, more.
