What our students say about our teachers:
I was happy to have discovered StrudelmediaLive and the Cameraless Photography class with Daura and Samanta! Thank you both for the enthusiasm, knowledge, and hard work you put into the class. I appreciated the materials you put together for each lesson — they were really thorough and looked wonderful — and that you posted them quickly. Thank you also for your observations and insights that you shared with each of us based on our individual styles and concepts. I was happy to have been in the class and expand on my knowledge of cameraless processes. You make a good team! If you teach another class or have exhibitions, please let me know.

The cyanotype class was super interesting and I liked Claudia's way of sharing very generously her knowledge over a technique she has long been working on; I find it not so common, artists tend to keep their “tricks” for themselves. And I really enjoyed sharing this class with such a wonderful group of people. The challenge was to make us work on something very manual, from a distance and through a video screen and, in my opinion, she succeeded greatly.

Online classes take many forms, but the best I've experienced have been live online classes with a small cohort of dedicated students and a committed teacher. I've used online classes to help push projects forward, solicit objective feedback from teachers and fellow students, and to explore new approaches to capturing images and building my skills.

We had a great course with Olga Ginzburg. She sparkles. She’s enthusiastic, encouraging, and lively as a teacher. We were all sorry that five weeks flew by so quickly.
